This project would provide three essential professional development opportunities for PTW students:

• Forum for scholarly development. This research journal will provide a forum within which PTW students can explore conceptual issues related to their professional development, and contribute to the conversation of those issues within their professional community.
• Opportunity to manage a professional publication. This project will provide students with opportunities to learn the responsibilities of managing a publication (e.g., manuscript acquisition, editing, collaboration, publication design, web design).
• Opportunity for students to connect with faculty outside of classroom spaces. This project will promote a stronger sense of community among PTW students and faculty by providing opportunity for professional and scholarly exchange on many levels, connected both to the ongoingscholarly development of students, and to the challenges that accompany the management of a publication. (Note: this is not a scholarly venue for faculty publication.)
