The most satisfying thing about pursuing your research interests is responding to a question that has been puzzling you for quite some time. The next most satisfying thing is sharing not only the question but your responses to the question with others. An organization of people who are curious about similar questions seek to share lessons learned, roadblocks, next steps, and successes with others.
