The AARC is committed to developing, supporting, and promoting research avenues and publication venues for the African American faculty at SVSU. Our goal is to ensure the sustained viability of African American scholarship initiatives among multiple disciplinary interests on campus, and in the community.

Teaching Scholarship is research personified. My interests vary from rhetoric (language use and its analysis) to community (history, social, religion, finances, education, politics), with much discourse in-between.
